Title This...

They're baaaaaack!!!!

The nesting pair of osprey arrived back on Baker Stewart Island a little more than a week ago and I couldn't be happier.  Last summer these two provided me and my camera with hours of enjoyment during my mid-day walks and I look forward to more of the same this year.

In honor of their return, we recognize them in this week's "Title This..." post. :o)

Last spring I witnessed and captured this image of two red-tailed hawks. At the time, I was pretty sure it was a once in a lifetime deal.  I've spent a good deal of my life in the great outdoors and liked to think I had my eyes open during most of it, but this was a new one for me.

Well, evidently it's not as uncommon as I thought. "Love is in the Air" high above Baker Stewart Island.  While it wasn't in the cards last year, maybe there will be some youngsters this summer.  We'll have to wait and see.
