Faster than a Speeding Hummingbird…

Sun at my back means decent light, 1000th of a second means we should be stopping motion and still we have blurry wings.  What’s most amazing is that I fired off a burst of shots at this female ruby throated hummingbird and within less than a second she went from the shot you see here to being completely out of the frame!

What amazing birds.
