Morning on the Farm

As a landscape photographer, some days the sun shines on you and some days it doesn't.  On this particular early autumn morning, everything seemed to just fall into place.  After shooting some sunrise images at Europe Bay on the north east tip of Wisconsin's Door County Peninsula, I jumped in the car and cruised the country side in the dense morning fog.  I had not gone far when I happened to glimpse my rear view mirror and saw the sun beginning to crest this old barn.  No chance that I was going to let this one find it's way into the "Coulda-Shoulda" collection.  I immediately turned around to capture the incredible morning light as the rays streamed through the fog around the silhouette of this old barn.  If you look closely, you can even see a bird perched atop the silo calling for the start of the day.  On this day, the sun was definitely shining on me.

This photo and many others are available for purchase as fine art prints.  Enjoy great savings from now until the end of the year and help me to brighten the Christmas of an underprivileged child in the process.  Click here for additional details.
