The Osprey Adventures
Yep, I'm still spending 45 minutes to an hour 2 or 3 times a week hoping to get lucky enough to capture an osprey snagging a fish from the river (without more time to invest, it will have to be luck too). So far, however, I continue to arrive late for lunch. For the second time this week, I arrived on the scene to find one of my feathered friends already dining. As I continued on my walk, I happened to capture the osprey and remaining fish headed back to the nest.
While he may have eaten the "best" parts, he was thoughtful enough to bring the leftovers home for the "little lady". She happily excepted the gift, but evidently there's a rule about eating in bed because she took her portion and flew it back to the same utility pole upon which the male had previously been eating.
