Last week I got a new camera! Well, not really. Only in the same sense as you have a new car when you roll the odometer (can that even happen any more?). This is one very good reason you should adopt some sort of renaming scheme with whatever post processing/asset management software you use - to combat duplicate file names.
If you have no idea what I'm talking about with "post processing/asset management software", fear not. Keep following the blog and we'll eventually get there. If you're the impatient type or like to explore on your own, I HIGHLY recommend you take a look at Adobe Lightroom 3 Beta 2. Remember, it's a beta but it gives a great opportunity to kick the tires.
