Fun with Bamboo

What do you do when you've captured an interesting scene in front of a not so interesting background? Hope you're as lucky as I am and you just received a Wacom Bamboo tablet as a gift from your wife :). The Wacom Bamboo is an entry level pen and touch tablet and, as luck would have it, I'm an entry level tablet user.

Using the local adjustment brush in Adobe Lightroom 3 Beta 2 (available for download), I painted around the geese using a light blue tone and then dropped the Saturation, Contrast and Sharpness to -100. Like magic the image was instantly transformed from so little contrast that you cold barely identify the geese to having them pop right off the page.
