Forest Floor

One of the exciting things about photography in this day and age is the sheer number of possibilities.  Pressing the shutter button is just the first in a long, long series of options for the scene in front of you.  Load that image into your computer, tablet or phone and the sky is the limit.

"Forest Floor" is an image I captured walking through the woods near Prairie Dells County Park just north of Merrill, WI back in the fall of 2010.  I stumbled across the shot again while thumbing through my catalog and decided to send it through Topaz Adjust for a little soft focus adjustment and then added a touch of vignetting for added effect.
