The Gorge

"The Gorge" is another image from last September's Yellowstone archives.  You can see Lower Falls at the top of the photo between the light beams of the setting sun and the lens flare cutting across the frame.

Some photographers are strictly "no flare" type of people and discard any shot where the little star burst light monsters find their way in.  I, on the other hand, believe lens flare has its place in photography and can actually add character as I believe it does in this shot.
