Title This...

Part of the Door County attraction for me is that while you are more or less surrounded by water, you still have the benefits of "Up North".  If your idea of Door County is Fish Creek, then you're only seeing a very narrow part of the picture.

On this particular morning I had just finished shooting sunrise from the very tip of the peninsula (Northport) and was on my way to Europe Bay to launch the kayak for an early morning outing.  My progress was delayed, however, by a bunch of turkeys (of the non-tourist variety this time)!  I never did get an accurate count as they were STILL coming up out of the ditch when I took the picture so I titled the image "22 and Counting...".
