Click + Oops = "Art"?
I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Ready? Ok, here it is.
Not every photo I take is technically perfect.
There I admitted it to the world. I'm not perfect. Odds are you might take one or two bad images in your lifetime too :). In the interest of full disclosure, only about 2% of the photos I capture make the cut and earn the right to occupy my valuable hard drive space (and that figure is probably high). The first step in my workflow once I've unloaded my memory card onto my computer is to flip through each image and flag it as good, bad or neutral. When I'm done with that step, anything flagged as "bad" gets deleted. What constitutes "bad"? That's the question isn't it. The above image, "Flying Watercolor", had one foot in the Recycle Bin before I changed my mind. I hadn't set out to take a blurry picture of a red-winged black bird. The sense of motion combine with the brilliant colors captured my interest and not only saved it from oblivion, but made it one of my recent favorites. As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I think it looks great! It would have been a shame to lose it.
