We have a nightly ritual at the Schram home were each night I prepare my wife a bowl of fruit and a glass of cranberry juice just prior to bed time. One evening, our female African Red-Bellied parrot, Mwanga, flew down onto the kitchen island and helped herself to some of the cranberry juice.... and now she's addicted. The instant I head into the kitchen to begin the nightly preparation, she flies onto the kitchen island like a flash and waits not so patiently for the the juice to hit the glass so she can sample that inviting red nectar. She's "Addicted".
